Scottish. Black Watch (Royal Highlanders) waist belt clasp

A fine scarce post 1953 two part die stamped gilt seeded rectanglar back plate with burnished edges, to the centre applied Thistle Star mounted by gilt crowned LACESSIT oval resting in thistle sprays and Sphinx below; silver St. Andrew and the Cross to seeded centre. Female loop absent. VGC.
