A fine die-stamped white metal example worn circa 1860-1880. Resting in an oak wreath, a crowned strap inscribed '37th Middlesex Rifles'; shield from the Royal Arms to centre. On the wreath, below the tail of the strap, a scroll inscribed in old English 'GGB'. Two screw posts to reverse. VGC
